CONFIRMATION 2011
Confirmation for 6th Class pupils will take place in St. Tiernan's Church on Saturday April 2nd at 11am.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2011
Second Class will receive their First Holy Communion in St. Tiernan's Church on Saturday May 21st at 11am.

HEALTH BOARD SCREENING
For Junior Infants and Fifth Class - will take place during dates 12th & 13th October and again on 15th October. Forms given to Classes for completion.

Mayo Final - Cross Country Championships Belleek – Thursday 7 October
Congratulations to all our pupils who took part in the North Mayo Cross Country Championships on September 30th. The following children got through to the Mayo final which will take place on Thursday 7th in Belleek:Individual Event: Erris McAndrew, Gary Hopkins, Shaun Cadden

Céad míle fáilte........
May I wish you all a “céad míle fáilte” and every blessing and success for the new school year.
1. Friday 10th September - Children go home at 12.30pm to facilitate Staff Meeting.
2. Homework Club resumes on Monday 6th September from 3pm to 4pm (sharp).
Cost €2 per day.
3. Lunches - From Monday, please send a bottle of water with your child to
school every day. It will be refilled during the day if need be. This will eliminate any
concerns parents have about cleanliness of bottles.
1st – 6th class
Sandwiches will be supplied on Mondays and Tuesdays and rolls Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday. The fruit will be supplied as before.

Sandwiches will be supplied on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
with Wednesday ‘roll’ day.
Please encourage your child to avail of the free lunch service.
