Upcoming Events in Our School (March)

Mass for Ash Wednesday – There will be Mass in St. Tiernan’s Church at 12 noon for the pupils of St. Tiernan’s College and Crossmolina N.S.


JACK JUDGE FOOTBALL LEAGUE – has now commenced. We are looking for volunteer referees between 12.30p.m. and 1.30p.m. Please let Mrs. Kennedy know if you are available and what day might suit you.

FIRST CONFESSIONS – congratulations to the children of Second Class who made their First Confession today (Tuesday 8th March).

SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE – we have having a Tráth na gCeist on Wednesday 16th March for classes 1st upwards.

SCHOOL CALENDAR

Please note that there will be no half-days for staff meetings held during school time between now and June. The calendar is as follows:


March Thursday 17th – no School (St. Patrick’s Day)

Friday 18th - no school (school holiday)

April Friday 15th – school closing at 12.30p.m. for Easter holidays

May Tuesday 3rd – school re-opens after Easter holidays

June Friday 3rd – school holiday

Monday 6th – Public holiday (no school)

Thursday 30th – school closing at 12.10p.m. for summer holidays

Invitation - Energy Action Day

ENERGY ACTION DAY On Friday March 11^th, children will display their Energy experiments in the Hall between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.  Everyone is invited to attend.
GREEN FLAG (ENERGY)         - our assessment will take place on March 24^th.
