CHRISTMAS...
NATIVITY/CAROL SERVICE - Thursday 16th Dec at 7pm in St. Tiernan's Church. Full dress rehearsal on Thursday morning so pupils can come to school with dress-up clothes on over uniform or else with clothes in a bag. All dress-up clothes will go home with the children to allow them arrive at the Church fully dressed at 6.45pm sharp.
CONFESSIONS FOR CHRISTMAS - Friday 17th Dec. at 11.15am in St. Tiernan's Church
IT'S A BABY - Junior & Senior Infants play will be on Wednesday 22nd at 11.45pm. All welcome.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS in school halla on Thursday 23rd at 10.15am. Everyone welcome.
TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC with Angela will resume again in January.
SWIMMING for 2nd and 3rd will commence Tuesday 11th January.
HOMEWORK CLUB will resume again in January.

LATEST NOTES & EVENTS
Crossmolina N.S. Parents Assoc. through their fundraising have given the school 700euro to put towards buses for swimming/events. This balances out at 4euro per child. We are very grateful and each child will receive a reduction over the coming weeks.
REMINDER: If you arrive late to school, please accompany your child to the main front door and ring the door bell to gain access.
SWIMMING: Fourth & Fifth still have one week left (due to weather) and then 2nd and 3rd will start on 7th December.
TRADITIONAL MUSIC: enrolment in Halla on Monday 6th December from 3pm to 3.15pm. Cost £35 for 10 classes payable at enrolment. Suitable for children 2nd class upwards.
BAD WEATHER: hopefully the worst is over but if you are in doubt at any stage as to whether the school will be closed, check the website. The decision to close or open is made in discussion with the Board of Management. We also sent out 108 text messages to parents so if you did not receive one, please check that the school has your current mobile number.
PLANNING DAY: Next Thursday 9th December is a planning day so there will be no school.
