Halloween Play

MID-TERM & HALLOWEEN

OCTOBER- 22nd -Halloween Drama Gaeilge (performed by 4th & 5th class) at 11.30am.
This is a short drama and an invitation is extended to all who wish to attend.
Halloween costume time – children can bring costume/oversize t-shirt or shirt with them in a bag to school. During break time they will dress-up before going to the Drama in the school hall. To avoid confusion, wear school uniform coming to school.
Mid-term break School closed from 25th to 29th October. Re-opens November 1st.
NOVEMBER
Friday 5th - Children go home at 2pm to facilitate Staff Meeting from 2pm to 4pm.

MINI-SEVENS (BOYS)

Well done to our 6th class boys who played in the mini-sevens in Moygownagh on Wednesday 13th October. Unfortunately your victory was overshadowed by the misprint in dates given but your skill and team-work did not go unnoticed.

PARENT/TEACHER MEETING - REMINDER

Friday 15th September. All children go home at 2pm to facilitiate parent/teacher meeting. Meeting time is between 2.30pm and 5.30pm. A time schedule has been sent home with your child. You are encouraged to come and meet your child's teacher.

CONFIRMATION 2011

Confirmation for 6th Class pupils will take place in St. Tiernan's Church on Saturday April 2nd at 11am.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2011

Second Class will receive their First Holy Communion in St. Tiernan's Church on Saturday May 21st at 11am.

HEALTH BOARD SCREENING

For Junior Infants and Fifth Class - will take place during dates 12th & 13th October and again on 15th October. Forms given to Classes for completion.

JUNIOR INFANTS - PHOTO FOR CHRONICLE

Eamonn O'Boyle, Photographer, will attend at 9.30am Thursday October 7th to take photographs of Junior Infants 2010 Class.
